Average sound speakers Sound these speakers produce can be pretty loud if you want, without distortions. To me sound they give lacks in detail and depth. Bass is loud (still lacks depth), and high tones could be more distinct. I use these speakers with my laptop and could hear more detail with some other speakers attached to it (costing £80).The blue diode on front of one unit is too bright, half of my room is blue when the lights are off (minor thing because you can always cover it if it disturbs you). They look nice and seem to be build well.I think original cables could be longer – the cable connecting columns (ca. 2m) is not quite long enough, and the cable for connecting to the computer (ca. 1m) is definitely too short. Luckily they are detachable so getting extensions elsewhere is not a big problem.All-in-all they’re ok for the price (ca. £50).

Good speakers For cheap low-end generic speakers I wasn’t sure how they would actually work out but I am happy with them. The bass is incredibly powerful, the maximum volume is sufficient for a loud party atmosphere and the sound quality is relatively good. Obviously these speakers aren’t of the same quality as high end speaker system but if you don’t want to pay 10 times the price of these yet want powerful speakers then I would recommend these. Just remember to turn the bass down when watching films/tv shows through them.
