Excellent Sound!! I brought this to replace a set of mini Philips speakers (SBA220) which gave out good sound for the size of them, so I was expecting a similar quality here too. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I first connected my Galaxy S4 via Bluetooth, and played some Calvin Harris – the sound was great!Good volume and nice and clear tones, perfect for a portable speaker, I couldn’t ask for much more.Took it around a friends last night too, a couple of beers in the garden listening to some music on batteries, up to about 11pm. I had to turn it down though as you could hear it down the street, and it wasn’t even at half volume – but didn’t want the neighbors complaining! For £30, I’d say this is a very good buy [plus £20 of this was a gift voucher, so even better for me! 🙂 ].

Excellent Straight from the box the speakers connect to our household devices (iPad, iPhone, nokia lumia 920 mainly) via Bluetooth and sync incredibly easily. Powered by either mains or AA batteries it truly is portable and multi functional. We usually have it in the kitchen (while on washing up duty) but on a couple of occasions we have taken it into the garden for barbecues and evening drinks, and the battery use is efficient. The sound is really great for the money. It is deep and really quite loud for the size. It also goes to the maximum without becoming distorted which is really important. The size is compact but not miniature and that helps produce a nice, clear and loud sound. The appetite in the family is to get another be for upstairs, and I’d have to say I’m in agreement with that; no more wires, and great sound throughout the house sounds like a winner to me.
