Very good budget video camcorder I am a huge fan of photography and have always enjoyed dabbling in videography. I have indeed owned a Canon Canon Legria HF R36 which has been a very capable camera so I looked forward to reviewing this.First off, it’s light. Really really light. The build quality is OK but perhaps a little flimsy in places – probably due to the wish to keep it light. This is a budget camcorder so I’m not totally surprised to be honest.Once you get past the first impressions you notice that it has very few buttons – this is good, it means this has a touchscreen and means no need to have to remember a tonne of controls – again in my view a good thing.The interface itself is actually quite good, it takes a little getting used to and can be a bit fiddly on the relatively low-res screen but it should be enough for most.The thing is, if you’re buying this kind of camcorder you aren’t expecting the best screen, or the best interface, what you want is good…
