Just What I Wanted! I wanted something in between my 15″ Dell, which is too heavy to carry around, and my iPad mini which is great to pop in my handbag and this fitted the bill perfectly. It’s light weight, slim and the Caribbean Blue is very pretty. It’s not the fastest computer I’ve had, but I didn’t expect it to be. Have heard alot about people not liking Windows 8 and I’m still learning about it but so far I love it and the ‘old style’ windows is still there if you want it in the Acer Desktop app so you can just go back to the old view of windows, no problem!

Its not bad for a budget laptop/netbook Screen quality is average, or thereabouts, for the price range. Theres some pretty bad viewing angles going on if you move your head around a lot.Speakers are rubbish. They are tinny and distort at high volumes. You may also experience some audio lag when doing anything demanding on the system. Not sure if thats just me, or what i was doing, but windows 8 would often play a sound effect a few seconds after the event. weird. The machine comes with windows 8 64bit. Not sure if its home premium, professional or some other variant as its not listed. The 4gb of ddr3 ram is at least being used on a 64bit os.Windows 8 itself is ‘ok’. Im used to windows 7, so for me windows 8 is seemingly a step backwards and im struggling to find everything i want, especially low level things like process analysis tools.i will adapt….. eventually. The C70 processor runs the os pretty well, even when multiple windows are open, but do anything demanding…
